In hot environments, fitting high temperature seals can greatly increase the longevity of your gas springs as they are more robust and able to withstand the fluctuations in temperature. These high temperature resistance gas springs are fitted in areas such as automotive engine compartments, industrial furnaces and food processing equipment.
Where it's a necessity, or at the very least, important not to be magnetic, we can help. For use with specific equipment such as in the medical sector with MRI and CT scanners, hospital beds and operating theatre tables. The oil and gas industry uses non-magnetic gas springs for similar reasons to medical, because they don't affect the accuracy of measuring equipment. An added advantage is that non-magnetic gas springs have a higher resistance to corrosion.
The performance specifications for your gas springs are quite often unique and will require an innovative solution, our engineers realise that. We can help you meet your brief by adjusting the damping characteristics and forces of your springs, gas pressures or oils. We can make gas springs to meet any specification.
Some of the specialist gas springs we design and manufacture are our Marineline™ gas springs, brackets and end fittings for the maritime and offshore industry.
